Anywhere Watersport Barcelona: High-Impact Steps to Launch a Profitable Paid Water Sports Booking Funnel

Overview: Anywhere Watersport

Anywhere Watersport Barcelona was delivered as part of a growing strategic collaboration between Nautics Technologies and Enter coliving, aimed at expanding traditional real estate and co-living services into paid lifestyle, leisure, and experience-based offerings.

As Enter coliving continued to build communities around tenants, students, and long-term residents in Barcelona, a clear opportunity emerged: transforming access to local experiences into a structured, bookable, and revenue-generating ecosystem.

One of the key partners in this initiative was Anywhere Watersport Barcelona, a local water sports provider offering paddle surf and guided water activities along the Barcelona coastline. While the company had experienced instructors, high-quality equipment, and strong on-the-ground demand, its operations relied heavily on manual coordination and fragmented communication.

The collaboration revealed a complementary gap:

  • Enter coliving had direct access to an engaged audience of tenants, students, and community members actively looking for activities

  • Anywhere Watersport Barcelona had the trainers, equipment, and capacity to deliver high-quality water sports experiences

  • What was missing was a centralized digital system to manage bookings, availability, time slots, and fluctuating demand in real time

Crucially, this was not a traffic or advertising challenge. Demand already existed on both sides. The real limitation was operational  the absence of a scalable booking and scheduling infrastructure capable of turning interest into confirmed, paid reservations.

The objective of the project was to design and launch a paid water sports booking funnel that could seamlessly connect Enter coliving’s audience with Anywhere Watersport Barcelona’s services, while reducing manual coordination, eliminating scheduling conflicts, and creating a repeatable system for future experience-based partnerships.

Challenges

Anywhere Watersport Barcelona had real-world operational risks if done incorrectly.

1. First-Time Paid Collaboration

This was the first paid water sports collaboration between Enter coliving and Anywhere Watersport Barcelona.

There was:

  • No booking history
  • No pricing validation
  • No scheduling framework
  • No operational playbook

Everything had to be tested in real conditions.

2. Trainer & Equipment Dependency

Paddle surf is not a digital product.

It depends on:

  • Trainer availability
  • Equipment readiness
  • Preparation time
  • Environmental conditions

Unstructured bookings would immediately break the experience.

3. No Existing Booking Infrastructure

Before this project:

  • No booking software was in place
  • No shared calendar existed
  • No system connected customers to trainers

The solution had to be fast, simple, and reliable.

Solution

We treated Anywhere Watersport Barcelona as a booking pilot, not a long-term platform build.

Step 1: Experience & Booking Flow Design

Before building anything, we mapped:

  • How users discover the paddle surf experience
  • How they book a session
  • What information trainers need in advance
  • How data flows between parties

This ensured the digital funnel matched real-world execution.

Step 2: Landing Page Development

We built a focused landing page using GoHighLevel.

The landing page:

  • Clearly described the paddle surf experience
  • Set expectations about learning and safety
  • Explained that booking in advance is mandatory
  • Removed distractions and unnecessary content

The page acted as a single conversion point.

Step 3: Calendar & Booking Funnel Setup

Using GoHighLevel’s calendar and funnel tools, we implemented:

  • Time-slot based booking
  • Controlled availability windows
  • Structured scheduling for trainers

This ensured:

  • Trainers knew exactly who was coming
  • Sessions were predictable
  • No double-booking or overlap occurred

Step 4: Manual Data Tracking (Validation Phase)

At launch, booking data was:

  • Collected digitally
  • Reviewed internally
  • Shared manually with Anywhere Watersport Barcelona

This allowed:

  • Demand tracking
  • Schedule optimization
  • Pricing and capacity evaluation

Automation was intentionally delayed to reduce risk.

Step 5: Handover to Enter coliving

Once the process was validated, the system was:

  • Cleaned up
  • Documented
  • Fully handed over to the Enter coliving team

They could now:

  • Manage bookings directly
  • Share data with partners
  • Operate the collaboration independently
